Roundpoint Mortgaging
Roundpoint Mortgaging is a locally owned small business with a need for a better digital experience. They required a responsive website redesign with a focus on mobile for today’s users but also needed help defining their digital look and feel.
Main problems solved include easier navigation, quicker processes, the ability to easily search for what they need resulting in fewer phone calls, and a digital UI toolkit for their brand.
Design Workshop
We began with research and discovery to define their underlying problems and together as a team, participated in an 8 hour design workshop to discover solutions. We used games to help team and client get to know one another and set the tone for a relaxed environment. Here we used dot voting exercises to help Roundpoint discover their new look as well as voice and tone.
Sitemaping
Their current site was completely broken so we started from scratch.
Wires
Being the first agency Roundpoint had worked with, there were a lot of educational opportunities including the significance and importance of wire frames.
Designs
Four main tasks are populated in the action bar upon arriving to the site. As the user scrolls, they learn how to save money using Roundpoint’s services, are provided a list of credentials, and shown what products are at their fingertips via the marketplace.
Typography played a huge role in their brand. We chose Gilroy for it’s modern look and weight options to create a distinct style and Baskerville for a touch of tradition.
UI Toolkit
Last but not least, we provided a brand guideline that covers their digital presence.
